Token Unlocking Event : Why PUMP Performed Differently and my Terracore Attacks!

Token Unlocking events in cryptocurrency usually cause a noticeable drop in price, whether it’s Arbitrum or any other token. We have seen prices go down depending on the number of tokens being unlocked. Recently, there was a Token Unlocking event for one of the most popular new tokens, called PUMP.

This is the native token of the Pump.fun platform, and it was about to go through its unlocking phase.

What went different here was that even after the token unlocking event, the price of the token didn’t crash heavily. In fact, after a small dip, the price pumped by around 60–80%. Before the unlocking, the price of 1 PUMP token was around $0.0028-0.0032.

But after the unlocking event passed and the impact was almost over, the price went above $0.005. That’s almost a 2x gain if we calculate from there. Right now, the price of 1 PUMP token is holding around $0.0055. It is quite impressive that it performed like that after the unlocking event.

The only reason I think this happened is because of the initial offering of this token, where the price was already quite high. That’s why maybe, even after the token unlocking event, most holders didn’t want to sell. Still, I believe that in the near future, when the token price gets closer to its all time high, investors might start selling it.

Personally, I was also one of the holders. I bought it around $0.0022, and I exited at $0.0034. I booked profit, so I am not sad at all.

Above you can see that my strategy of increasing the Engineering worked as the amount there collected is 50 scraps which is rarely seen on my terracore base. I almost see no value there for most of the days so I was happy to see those numbers today.

Above are the attacks that went good for me, I know they are not the best I have achieved but still I am happy for the mining part where I holded that much token in my base without others stealing them from me. Next we are going to focus on defense system of the base to see how it goes for us.

Experiments will only help us improve our terracore base so that is why I have decided to do it from now on.
