The Good and Bad Sides of Hive Blockchain - My 3 Years of Experience

When it comes to earning online, there are a lot of ways through which a person can earn on a daily basis. One of the platforms and one of the social blockchains that we all know is famous for earning online is the Hive blockchain. In this blog, I am going to talk about the good and bad things on Hive blockchain as well, based on my experience.
I have written blogs for more than three years on Hive, so I actually know a lot about the platform, the things to do and the things not to do. If you want to know about them, just stay with me till the end and you are going to learn all of that.
First of all, let me share the good things with all of you, which I myself experienced while I was on Hive blockchain and while I am still on it. The very first thing you will learn or feel good about is learning about social blockchain and Web3.
As soon as you join Hive blockchain and genuinely start to use it, you are going to come across some fantastic writers who are actually sharing content related to blockchain, development, art, and many other things.
No matter which category or hobby you come from, if you genuinely explore the platform, you are going to come across fantastic writers, technology writers, developers, and more.
The second most beneficial thing is for learners. If you have joined Hive blockchain, spent time here, and you are someone who likes to learn, then definitely you are going to learn about decentralized exchanges, liquidity pools, and all the other features at one place.
This is because Hive blockchain is not just a platform. It is an entire blockchain ecosystem that brings play to earn games, decentralized exchanges, write to earn features, and many other things that you can think about related to blockchain. Even non fungible tokens are found here. So when it comes to learning, this platform is very good for learners.
The third and most beneficial thing, in my personal opinion, is building connections. There are people I have met on Hive blockchain whom I have never met in real life, but they are very close to me. They are like brothers to me. I have made peer to peer deals with them.
I have learned a lot from them personally through Discord messages as well as through the platform. So I think that is one of the most beneficial features. The platform actually introduces you to people from different parts of India as well as the world, and there can be nothing more exciting than joining Hive blockchain for me.
Lastly, this is a bit more personal to me because I am a gamer and I like to play games. When I joined Hive blockchain, I also started playing games on it. Recently, I started playing Holozing, which was launched two years back. That is the game I participated in.
There were liquidity pools, staking rewards, and other features on the gaming website that I joined. Then I play Splinterlands on a daily basis. I also play Golem Overlord and Terracore. These are actually part of my daily life. I play these games every day.
Now coming to the bad side and I am going to be honest here. The first bad side is that if you are someone looking for quick rewards or quick benefits, then this platform is not for you. You are going to feel heartbroken as soon as you join Hive blockchain because you are not simply going to earn anything on the first day.
You have to be consistent, you have to write real blogs with no plagiarism, and then you have to engage with others who connect well with your niche.
That is when you are going to start feeling that you are earning something on the platform. So if you are someone who is actually here just to earn rewards without putting in any effort, then I am really sorry to say that this platform is not for you.
Then comes the second disadvantage. I would not say it is actually a bad thing. There are a number of front ends, and one can get confused about which one to use. Depending on which front end you are using, you also get some benefits related to it as well as voting rewards.
For example, if you are using Ecency, then you can become eligible to be curated by the Ecency official account on your good content. But if you are using another front end, then probably you are not going to get voted by Ecency.
So that is another thing. One might get confused about what to use. It all depends on your personal preferences. Personally, I have used Leo and Ecency, and I feel both of them are good. I have never used PeakD, but I have heard that it is also one of the front ends that people like.
Then, if you are someone who is thinking of doing something evil, then you are going to come into the eyes of Hive watchers and people who are going to downvote you. You will cry for all the things you have done, but you are not going to escape it.
So if you are doing something bad or evil, for example trying to promote false projects or scam projects through which you are trying to steal something from others, or simply trying to collect rewards by farming the same content again and again, then this platform is not for you.
The platform is for people who put in real effort and not for someone who comes here and keeps posting the same content again and again after a certain interval of time.
Lastly, if you are someone who is new to blockchain and Web3, then you are going to face a little difficulty in learning about the platform. Especially when it comes to understanding how to withdraw tokens from Hive or how to deposit tokens on Hive.
You have to put time and effort into learning these things. If you are not going to do that, then you are going to feel that the platform is quite bad for you because it is complicated. Yes, it is complicated, but once you start learning it, you are going to feel comfortable and happy using it.
