Splinterlands - Trying the Campaign Mode for the first time, My thoughts!

How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.

After a long time, I opened Splinterlands today because I really missed playing it. I had been quite busy lately, and that’s why I rarely played any games on the Hive blockchain. As you can see in the screenshot below, the Survival Mode is currently temporarily disabled due to some reason.

So instead, I decided to try the Campaign Mode today, this mode helps new players learn about the game mechanics.

I wanted to explore it, so I visited it and gave it a try. In the screenshot below, you can see that there are two cards the lion card is ours, while the bear card is our opponent. This was Chapter 1 of Book 1, so obviously it was quite easy. New players who join the game will likely defeat that bear and feel happy about it.

But in Chapter 2, as you can see in the screenshot below, things start getting tougher. You will be bullied by an opponent who comes with five different cards, and in the first round itself, you’re going to get defeated. That’s where your learning journey truly begins.

I played these two chapters today. In the screenshot below, you can also see the opponent who defeated us, looking quite happy. But once you go through the campaign lessons and gain experience, you will definitely be able to defeat this opponent in later chapters.

In another screenshot below, you can see the Lion card we won, our card’s name is Dread Tafarian, and it even has a healing ability if you look carefully. It's good that new players gets a card with healing ability.

After finishing that, I opened my Terracore base where I had 5 attacks available. I used all of them, and as you can see in the screenshot below, we won around 620 scraps from those 5 attacks, out of which one was dodged successfully by the opponent.

So that’s all from my Terracore base for today. Overall, I played Splinterlands and Terracore, and also spent some time playing Golem Warlord, though I don’t have any screenshots of that since I played it earlier in the morning.
