Splinterlands - Opening 5 Foundation packs, Won a Rare Gold Foil Summoner and an Epic card, played the battle with Witch Hunt modifier for the first time!

how are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.

I am back with another Splinterlands blog, and this was again one of the really good days for me in Splinterlands. I am going to share everything, so stay with me.

As usual, first I am going to head over to the Mana Well and see how many Foundation Chest boxes we have there. You can see in the screenshot below that we have five Foundation Chest boxes, so we are going to open them.

As usual, I am not going to expect anything precious from them because I do not want to feel disappointed after seeing what is inside the packs.

In the screenshot below, you can see the first half of the pack opening where I won nothing special, only a summoner from the Earth category and an epic card that were slightly better than the other cards.

In the screenshot below, I finally won something extraordinary. It was a Gold Foil rare summoner card. I think I do not own this card, so this is the first time I have won it. I now have a Gold Foil Fire summoner, so I am happy to this Gold Foil summoner to my collection.

In the screenshot below, you can see the price of this card. It is worth about $0.30, so I could buy approximately ten Foundation Chest boxes if I exchanged it for DEC tokens. However, I am not going to sell it because I really enjoy collecting different cards, so I am going to keep it.

In the screenshot below, you can see the Wheel of Fortune rewards that I won today. I received one free spin, 500 Spark points, and an additional 50 Spark points as my daily streak bonus from the Wheel of Fortune.

Now let me talk about one of the battles that I fought today. This battle had a modifier that I experienced for the first time. The name of the modifier was Witch Hunt. This modifier allows ranged monsters to deal double damage to monsters with magic attack.

In the screenshot below, you can see the battle lineup where both of us chose the Fire element, and I already knew it was going to be a tough battle.

In the screenshot below, you can see that it was down to four versus six, and while my opponent had already lost most of their monsters, I still had all of mine alive.

Finally, in round 3, you can see that it was down to six versus two, so I was able to win the battle with all of my monsters still alive while my opponent lost the battle. It was definitely a good day for me.

Now I am going to talk about Terracore because that is the other game I play here on the Hive blockchain. In the screenshot below, you can see my Terracore base with the pending attacks ready to be used. I had eight attacks, so I used all of them. After using them, I won around 1800 Scrap tokens. As usual, that is not a huge amount for me, but I am still happy with the result.

That is all I did in Splinterlands and Terracore today. I am really happy with what I won in Splinterlands. That is all for today.
