Splinterlands - Opening 5 Foundation packs, winning 2 Epic and 2 Gold, and A battle with Burning Modifier

Hello everyone,
How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.

It has been three days since I last played Splinterlands, but today I finally got some time from my work and played the game again. I completed my daily rewards, and now I have some chest openings to share with all of you, along with a battle that I think is worth sharing.

As usual, you can see in the screenshot below that I am at the mana well, where I have six Foundation chests. Nothing new here, but I am going to open five of them because that is what I like. I prefer opening in multiples of five, like 5, 10, or 15. So today, I opened five chests without expecting much. Still, I was hoping to get at least one gold foil card, even if it is a common one.

In the screenshot below, you can see the first three chest openings where I got two epic cards. I am happy with that because I want to max out my epic cards. Even though I did not get a legendary, I am still satisfied.

In the next screenshot, you can see the remaining two chests, where I got two gold foil cards. Even though they are from the common category, I am happy because I want to collect and upgrade gold foil cards. So overall, this was a nice opening. It may not be worth much in terms of money, but I am still happy.

Now I want to share a battle that had the Burning modifier. I am especially sharing this for newcomers so they understand how to play with this modifier.

When the Burning modifier is active, you should focus on monsters with higher health. You need to build your team in such a way that your monsters can survive longer.

In the screenshot below, you can see the battle lineup. I am at the bottom, and my opponent is at the top. One of the key monsters on the opponent’s side is Little Sister, but it only has 3 health. This is a mistake because, with the Burning modifier, it loses 2 health each round.

So if my team deals even 1 damage, it will be eliminated very quickly. In the screenshot below, you can see Round 3, where the match is 3 vs 4. However, there is a big difference. Most of my opponent’s monsters are down to 3 or 4 health, while I still have a legendary monster with 9 health. At that point, I was confident that I would win.

Finally, in the last screenshot, you can see that I won the battle. It was quite an easy win because my opponent did not build a proper team for the Burning modifier.

So remember, whenever you see the Burning modifier, avoid using monsters with low health because they will not survive long.
That is all I did in Splinterlands today.

Now coming to Terracore.

In the screenshot below, you can see my Terracore attacks. I am not sure what went wrong today because I was only able to see the results of two attacks. The remaining six attacks were just loading.

So I claimed my stash after using two attacks, and I will try again tomorrow to see if the remaining attacks get processed.

That is all I did in Splinterlands and Terracore today.

Thank you.
