Splinterlands - Opening 5 Foundation packs, Winning 2 Gold Foil and Epic Card, Battle with Deflection Field and Cripple modifiers

How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.

Today was a nice day for me in Splinterlands. As usual, I went to the mana well, as you can see in the screenshot below. At the mana well, I had six Foundation chests, and I decided to open five of them and save one for later.

I was excited to see what I would get because today my gut feeling was telling me that I might win at least one gold foil card. Let’s see if that actually happened or if I was going to be disappointed again.

In the screenshot below, you can see that I opened five Foundation chests, and thankfully, I did not win just one but two gold foil cards. The very first card I got was an epic card, so I was already happy with the opening. I also won a summoner, which made it even better.

The gold foil card I won was Dread tafarian, and both gold cards were the same. I am sharing that card below. It is a well-known card, but for those who do not know about it, you can check it out. It comes with a healing ability, which is why it is often used in battles, especially in Frontier mode.

In the screenshot below, you can see that I combined three of this card to upgrade it to the next level. Now I need two more copies to max it out, so I hope I can get them in future openings.

Now let me share one of the battles I played today. It was against Aurelia, and I used Thalgrimore in my team. You can see the battle lineup in the screenshot below.

In the next screenshot, you can see round two, where it was down to 3 vs 2. Even though the opponent had Mystic Scale Weaver at max level, I was still confident that I would win the battle.

Finally, in the last screenshot, you can see the final round where it was 1 vs 1. My legendary card Little Sifter delivered the final blow, and I won the battle.

That is all I did in Splinterlands today, and it was a good day. I won two gold foil cards, an epic card, and a summoner. Even though I did not get a legendary card, I am still very happy with the results.

Now coming to my Terracore base. In the screenshot below, you can see that I used five attacks today, and they gave me a total of 1,195 scrap tokens, which is a good result.

I also plan to start playing Golem Overlord again because it has been a long time since I played it. That games need more attention and time and that is the reason why I have been unable to play that one but let's try and get back to that soon.
