Splinterlands - Opening 5 Foundation Chest Boxes, Playing My first Guild Brawl, and Packs I plan to Buy in Future

How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.

Today, I have something new from Splinterlands to share with all of you. Today, I participated in the Guild Brawl for the very first time in my life, and I was very excited.

To be honest, I really don’t know how it works, and I don’t even have the cards to play in this phase of the game. But still, I am going to give it a try, and from next time, I am going to make sure to participate in that section of the brawl where I can actually perform well.

In the screenshot below, you can see my first battle from Guild Brawl, and there you can see my team on the bottom right, while the opponent's team is on the top. During the battle, it didn’t look one-sided to me.

But by the time it reached the last round, I already knew that it was actually one-sided because the opponent was clearly experienced in this type of battle. On the other hand, I am not that experienced. But it's okay.

I then played a Frontier Battle mode, where you can see my battle lineup in the screenshot below. Both my opponent and I came up with Thalgrimore, and our teams were almost similar.

The only difference was that my monster in the second position was different compared to my opponent, and my little sister monster was placed in the fourth position, while my opponent placed it in the third position, which I think was not the right decision because it is an important monster in this type of battle.

In the screenshot below, you can see that in the next round, we were down to 4 versus 4, but my opponent’s little sister was about to die. As you can see, her health is 0, while my little sister monster still had 4 health, and she was going to perform further to gain more health because she comes with the life leech ability.

In the screenshot below, you can see the second last round, where we were down to 4 versus 2, and I think here it was very obvious that I was about to win the battle, especially because my little sister monster was still alive with 5 health and 2 armor. So there was no chance I was losing this battle.

In the screenshot below, you can see the final round of the battle where I hit the final blow with Alan Musketeer and won the battle. So I am very happy that I was able to win one of the battles, even if my guild brawl didn’t go really well. I promise I am going to improve on that part, and I am going to shine when it comes to guild brawl in the coming time.

Now, let us move to Mana Well and open some foundation chest boxes. I only have 5 of them. I wasn’t able to play the game for the last 2 days again, so I haven’t won any, and I haven’t bought any yet. I plan to buy some chests, but not the foundation chest. I am still confused about which one to buy, but we are going to talk about it at the end of the blog.

Below in the screenshot, you can see all the cards I won today from opening 5 foundation chest boxes, and this was one of the worst openings for me because I didn’t win anything valuable. I only won one epic card, and even that does not excite me because I don’t really use that monster in battles. So it was really a bad pack opening for me, but at the end of the day, I knew that something like this can happen when opening packs.

In the screenshot below, you can finally see all the packs I am looking forward to buying. I am going to buy one of them. You can exclude the Gladius pack because I already opened it the week before last. So I am not going to open the Gladius pack. But I think Chaos Legion, Foundation, Rebellion, Conclave Arcana, and Escalation are the ones I would like to choose from.

So which one should I open? Just let me know in the comments, and I will try to buy that and open it in the coming days. That’s all I did in Splinterlands today.

In my Terracore base, I actually just simply used all of my attacks. I am there with multiple penalties, by the way, so I also have to upgrade my base, but for now, I just used the attacks and the results for the same can be seen in the screenshot below.

I won a total of 944 scraps today, and it is not a good number for me, but anyways, that is how it is. I am not playing Golem Overlord once again because of the lack of time. So that's all I did today on Hive blockchain related to Web3 play-to-earn games.
