Splinterlands - Opening 20 Foundation Packs, Glint Store Confusion, and Battling with My New Conclave Arcana Monster

How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.

I am back with another Splinterlands blog for all of you, and today I am going to share a massive chest opening where I opened 20 Foundation chest boxes. It is a big number. I have never opened that many before at once. The maximum I had opened earlier was 10 chest boxes.

Generally I open 5 chest boxes, so this is four times more than my usual pack openings. I am very excited and waiting to see if it will be as exciting for me once I open them.

I am also going to talk about my modern battle mode improvements, share something about Glints, and the things I am looking forward to buying with Glints. I will also share one of the battles where I used one of my latest monsters from the water element named Shock Trooper, which is already exciting me in battles.

In the screenshot below you can see that 20 Foundation chest boxes are opened at once and they are ready to be revealed to see what is inside them. I wanted to get at least one legendary card this time, but let us see if it happened or not.

In the screenshot below you can see the first half of the cards that I won and it was really heartbreaking because there was only one epic card and there were no legendary cards or gold foil cards in this section. In fact there was not even a summoner for me this time because summoners are something that I really like to own since I want to upgrade them. But the first half of the packs did not have any summoner.

In the screenshot below you can see the second half of the packs and there I won one more epic card and two summoners from the fire element and five summoners at the end as well. So I am not very happy with the pack openings because I won only three epic cards, no legendary cards, and most of them were common or rare cards. It was really disappointing for me.

I almost forgot to mention that I also got one gold foil card, but it was from the common category, so I am not very excited about that either. Overall I think my 20 pack opening did not go very well.

Now let us move forward to the modern battle mode. In the screenshot below you can see that I have already won 3000 Glints in this season and it has only been a few days since I started playing in this battle mode. If I continue progressing at this rate then maybe per season I can easily earn around 20000-25000 Glints.

I will try my best so that I can purchase the maximum tradable assets using Glints.

In the screenshot below I want to ask for your suggestion about what I should buy when I have enough Glints. For now I have 6000 Glints and I can purchase a common card or a rare card directly. I can also purchase a minor chest, a major chest, or merits. So which of them is actually more favorable to buy.

I know that with the major chest I can also earn merit points which is a plus point, but it is all based on luck. I can also directly buy merits by spending 200 Glints and exchanging them for 200 merits which can then be used to buy Gladius packs or other items from the guild.

By the way I also joined a new guild recently and this is my very first guild. I am happy to be part of it and I will explore the guild section very soon to understand how everything works.

In the screenshot below you can see my battle with my new monster named Shock Trooper. I used the water element and at the bottom you can see my team where Shock Trooper comes with 4 magic attack without any modifiers. With Marlai Singariel giving +1 magic attack this monster deals 5 damage to the opponent team at once which is going to be a big problem for them.

In the screenshot below you can see round 2 where the battle already shifted heavily in my favor and my opponent was left with only 3 monsters. At that point it was quite obvious that I was about to win the battle.

Finally in the screenshot below you can see the last round where Shock Trooper delivered the final blow to the opponent monster and I won the battle. I also received 55 Glints after that victory.

In the screenshot below you can see that I also reached a new league where I won 64 merits and two common cards from the Conclave Arcana set. I am happy to add them to my Conclave Arcana collection.

Any cards whether common, rare, epic, or legendary are welcome in my deck because I simply want to collect them all.

From my terracore base let me quickly just share the attacks done today and the number of scraps won with them in the screenshot below. There were seven attacks but we only won around 1033 scraps with them.

In golem overlord base there was actually nothing worth sharing because of the penalty on our base and so just claimed the rewards in it and did not used any attacks as you can see in the screenshot below.

That is all I did in Splinterlands, terracore and golem overlord today.
