PUMP Token and Its Unforgettable Performance After Token Unlocking Event - A Surge of 150% but why?

A few days back, I shared about a token named PUMP, which is the native token of PUMP.FUN. At that time, we were about to witness the token unlocking event, and I explained how such events usually impact a token’s price. Surprisingly, the PUMP token did not react in the usual way when its unlocking event arrived.

Today, I am here to share something even more interesting. The PUMP token has not only behaved very differently from other tokens during the unlocking event, but it has also created a new all time high recently. It is up by almost 150% from the price it was trading at during the unlocking event.

Back then, it was trading around $0.0033 , and now it is around %0.0084, an impressive gain of about 150%. I am quite shocked because it is rare to see a token perform like this during a token unlocking event. Even big project like Arbitrum couldn't do that.

I have already shared some reasons for this behavior in my last blog, but I still believe there could be a dump in the market for this token in the near future. There are initial investors who bought in during the Initial Project Offering at very attractive prices.

While the recent price increase might excite them, they are not likely to forget what happened after the initial launch, when the team behind this token went against what they had promised investors.

So, if those early investors still remember that incident, they might decide to sell the token anytime soon, which could lead to a massive crash. I think even a 50% drop is possible, from $0.0080 down to around $0.0040. But let us see what happens, because this is the crypto market and anything can happen.

We could even see it climbing above a dollar eventually. I think it might happen because there is no major resistance left for this token at the moment. The only significant resistance is the level where the project originally started.

If that level is broken, the token will enter the price discovery zone, where its all time high could be explored further. We never know where it might stop, $1, $2 or even higher. Anyways, if you bought this token this is the time to book profit so do not greed here anymore and make sure to at least take your initial investment out.

We are going to see how these stats actually work in near future as today is just the time we shifted to them so let us give some time so that the real results will be known to us. For now I feel disappointed.
