DIARY OF A STUDENT COUPLED WITH SOME WEEKEND FUN…
It’s been just five weeks since the second semester started and right now things are looking pretty hectic and choky like it’s the thirteenth week and examination is just around the corner. This is to tell you how crazy, hectic and stressful the activities of this semester has been since the very first week of resumption. Starting from the locations where we take lectures down to the courses we are offering this semester, everything is just looking too different and quite stressful to comprehend…
Last semester which happened to be the first semester was quite interesting, enjoyable and less stressful compared to this semester, especially in terms of transportation costs. Things were really easy in that aspect last semester. I remember how easy things were for me back then, especially with the fact that my course-mates and i didn’t have to travel to and fro parading the whole campus to take lectures, our lectures were scheduled to always take place in just one particular location, we only had to move around for general courses that involved three or four other departments…
This was how life was for me last semester, this semester the school didn’t leave any stone unturned to make things difficult for each and everyone of us, not only did we have to make do with weird courses this semester, we also have to spend on different things like transportation and different materials almost every day, and it’s not getting funny anymore….
The timetable this semester is a bit flexible but then the lecturers of these courses are just too unique if you understand what I’m saying 😂. Honestly, it’s been crazy and draining for a couple of weeks now, but then thanks to a lot of canceled classes things has been much more manageable and stable. I know the next couple of weeks will be intense and hectic, especially with the first semester result just around the corner…
It seems we are on the journey to becoming a university from a polytechnic and that is why i say a big congratulations to US. Congratulations to more stress, opportunities and rules, i can only picture how things will be in the coming years…
WEEKEND 💭…
Hurray! It’s finally my best days of the week. Saturday and Sunday happen to be my favorite days of the week. I woke up this morning with the intention of getting a lot of things done, from doing the laundry to reporting some of the practicals we did last week in school in my report note. These were the initial plans before I decided to take a complementary nap this morning since i didn’t really sleep much last night, only for me to wake up after and this laziness from nowhere settled in…
I have been home all day and I can’t really say there was anything major i did today apart from running some petty errands for the house, i just decided to while away my time in the company of different activities…
I woke up to seeing a nollywood movie starred by ESO DIKE and CYNTHIA CLARKE, after spending over two hours on it i decided to head over to Netflix to continue watching my k-drama, it’s a series that just got aired last week and it’s titled DEAR HONGRANG, i concluded the 6th episode of 11 episodes and then got tired of it, which made me move to YouTube for something more interesting and enjoyable…
I got to YouTube and decided to watch some raw talents perform and that was how i found my way to the THE VOICE YouTube channel, i have been in that channel for hours now and i am happy all the time spent on that app wasn’t a waste of time…
On the contrary, i will be heading back to watch the knockout stages after i’m done with this post of mine. It won’t be bad to end my day watching those raw and beautiful talents perform to the best of their capabilities, while they get judged by the veterans in the music industry…
In conclusion, it’s been an interesting day so far even with the fact that i didn’t get to do any important work today, i am happy the day wasn’t totally a waste…
