My first phone experience.

Writing about my first phone experience

During those early days, phone wasn't so common in each homes,I can remember how we attributed anyone who had a phone to be a wealthy or Rich person
Sometimes it was in movies that I saw people using it and I kept wondering when I'll have the chance to hold it.
Then with time,it was easier to have a phone in my family,my dad got it first and then he got it for my mom,it was really a happy time at home,later on my sisters and my brother got theirs.
I was the last person at home without a phone, probably because I was the last child,I guess my parents felt I wasn't up to the age of having a phone .
As time passes I was then given a phone.
My first phone wasn't a new phone,it was my mom's old phone,she got herself a new phone and she decided to give her old phone to me,the old phone was still in good shape and I still can't understand why my mum gave it out.
Truthfully,I had admired my mom's first phone more than other phones at home.
One faithful day,my mom came back from work earlier than her usual time,after eating she sent my brother to called me and I went to see her.
She jokingly asked me if I can operate a phone,I was speechless as I kept laughing ,it was a weirded question because I was always with my mom's phone when ever she came back from work sometimes I helped her in sending messages and also to save contacts in the phone .
I stood there smiling uncontrollably
as she told me,you can now have my old phone,the joy I felt that day was immeasurable,I took the phone and happily pulled out her sim card, I gave her a hug and I ran to my room.
My new phone became my best friend
I still remember how I use to laid on my bed exploring my phone and i eventually neglected my meals just because of a phone,I got a new sim card for the phone and I was extremely happy,I felt like making calls all day.
not because of who I was talking to,but just to be active with my phone .
I had one favorite ringing tone that I can't forget in a hurry,it still lingers in my brain .
I will always treasured my first phone because,it was one of my most treasured gift from my mother.
