Happiness.

Hmm.....this prompt has really got me thinking. What really makes me happy? How do I really find happiness when life gets tough?

Honestly, now that I think about it, I haven't had enough time to be sad as to know how I get happy again. I say this because I easily get happy no matter what I am going through. Matter of fact, I don't ever let myself think too much about my problems or the problems of those that I love that they tell me about. Because there is something I have come to understand, life really isn't difficult (or tough, as it relates to this prompt) we just don't know what to do. I mean, think about it, during an exam it test, when a question is set in front of you, do you panic when you see a question that you understand and know the answer to? I imagine not. You only feel panic or fear when you don't know the answer to the problem and you know that you will fail if you don't answer that particular question. That is why you have students coming out an exam and smiling while some are frowning or even crying.

This school analogy applies to life, in all ramifications. Every challenge that we have ever faced is simply something we didn't have the solution to the very first time it appeared. If you give a carpenter a smart phone to repair and tell him his life or earnings depends on him being able to fix that phone, you are going to see him deteriorating because he doesn't know the first thing to do, and he knows he has responsibilities. But once he is able to fix that phone and collect his first earning, you will see him totally brightened up, and ready for the next challenge.

With all these analogy I've given, let me share my secret of how I remain happy when life gets tough. The first one is, I know that whatever is happening is only temporary. Since I know that the problem won't last, why should I wait till it has fine before I let myself be happy? The second one is that I either already have the solution to that problem or I know the solution is coming, sooner or later. That knowledge is enough to make me happy. Thirdly, there is someone that contributes to my happiness by them just being in my life. But ultimately, and above all else, I have a God that sees the end from the beginning. He doesn't let what I cannot handle, or what will destroy me come my way. If He allows it it's because I will become stronger and wiser after facing it.

All I've tried to point out is, difficulties are a state of mind, and so is happiness. It is left to you to decide which one to focus on.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. See you soon. 🤗

peace out ✌️
