Cash out or Power up ?

In every game there are strategies and following the right strategies makes you win . Same is applicable in hive. To grow on the platform, I have come to realize that investing in the platform is as important as earning and withdrawing from the platform. Hive has been nice , insightful since when I started. Starting from learning, earning, interacting with new friends, learning new things.

‎I think I joined the platform a year ago and after some months of onboarding me, I started noticing the power up prompt , I never really understood how to go about it, but I kept reading and following up. It was nice. And the funny part is that , one question that hivers face at some point amd find it difficult to answer is, if they should power up their hive oe cash out. I think few months ago, a friend that i introduced to hive asked me, what power up is all about, i tried my best to explain, he understood to some extent. But the question was still it he should power up or hold on or cash out. I told him, it's a choice, but aside that, powering up help the system and also help him grow his account, just like help his voting power and earn more curation rewards.

‎But I was actually trying to build up some assets before I started powering up. So I kept building, I did it for close to a year.

‎But all of a sudden , something came up that needed cash from me, as we do say, na who dey alive dey save, I needed to cash out, safe myself first so that I can live to save. But the truth is I didn't cash out all, because I know there is always a rainy day. But it's a pity as the value of hive keeps dropping, I still believe with time it will rise again.

‎In summary, I have not power up before, but with time I will start powering up some hive. But for now, while I keep planning and preparing the power up, let me keep growing it first.
