ADVICE FROM A NEWBIE TO NEWBIES ON HIVE
Hello fellow hivers and amazing people in the Indiaunited community, hope you're all doing absolutely great. My name is @nemzy. Happy to drop my entry to this week's contest: Advice to newbies.
If one must be successful in any venture or organization he finds himself, it's pertinent that one studies the organization very well paying serious attention to the laid down rules so as not to default and also to ensure productivity.
Hive Blockchain is a vast platform that requires one to carefully understudy the nitty gritties for effective and efficient and rewarding engagements.
I'll be sharing some advice here on how to successfully thrive on this amazing platform to best of my knowledge.
HAVE A POSITIVE MINDSET: As a newbie, do not think that coming on hive will earn you all the millions you desire in no time. Hive isn't a Ponzi scheme or get rich quick kinda place. You grow your earnings overtime and it requires serious commitment and hardwork. By hardwork, i dont mean the labour-intensive kind of hardwork like bricklaying etc 😊. You must be ready to put your brain to work by creating valuable contents.
AVOID PLAGIARISM LIKE A PLAGUE: One thing i love about hive is their intense frowning against copying another person's work and reward for originality.
As a newbie, never involve yourself in any form of plagiarism because it will be detected and you may be blacklisted, rather endeavour to post your original proof of brain work and make sure you source any work that's not outrightly yours.
CONSISTENCY: Hive rewards consistency and this requires you showing up daily via different forms of engagement ( participating in contest, posting creative contents on different communities, making meaningful comments on other people's post, staking, delegating etc etc.
MENTORSHIP: You can't go really far on hive without a mentor guiding you on what to post on which community, the right tags to use in a particular community so as not to abuse the tags, how to get a captivating title for your post etc. The need to frequently attend trainings with other team members is also very key 🗝️
CONCLUSION: In concluding this post, I'll love to add that hive is like a mighty ocean that requires absolute commitment and energy to navigate. If judiciously leveraged upon, you stand to enjoy lots and loads of benefits that you can't get from any other platform.
