From Scrolling to Creating: How Hive Changed My Online Experience

I joined hive few months ago, but before i joined Hive, I mostly used the internet to watch videos, read things, scroll through social media like Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and others, and sometimes make a post. I never really thought that I could use the internet to share my own thoughts and also connect with people in a different way.

Then I joined Hive through Ecency because it's seemed easier for the registration.

At first, I was confused about many things. I saw people talking about Hive Power, upvotes, communities and rewards, but I didn't understand everything. I had to take my time and learn.

The more I stayed on Hive, the more I started understanding how things worked.

One major thing Hive changed for me was writing. I started writing more often. I wrote about things I liked, my thoughts, movies I watched and some personal experiences. Before, I would have just kept some of these things to myself. But on Hive, I found a place where I could share them.

Sometimes, after making a post, someone would leave a comment. Sometimes, people would share their own experience. Even a simple comment could make me happy because I knew that someone had actually read what I wrote.

Hive also made me start paying more attention to other people's posts.

I have read stories from people living in different countries, some of their experiences are very different from mine, while some are surprisingly similar. I have also learnt new things from people just by reading their posts.

Another thing I like about Hive is the community.

It is not only about making your own posts. You can also read other people's work, leave comments, support them and take part in different communities and contests.

I am still learning about Hive though, I don't know everything yet, and sometimes I still have questions, but I have become more comfortable with learning as I go.

Hive has also changed the way I spend my time online.

Before, I mostly consumed what other people created. Now, I also think about what I can create myself. Instead of only scrolling, I can sit down and write something that another person may enjoy reading.

It may be a movie review, a personal story, a simple thought or something I just want to share.

For me, that is one of the biggest changes Hive has brought into my online life.

Hive gave me a place to write, learn, meet people and share my experiences.

I am still new and still learning, but I am happy that I joined. I don't know exactly where my Hive journey will take me, but I am enjoying the journey so far.
