My Simple Bottom-Up Strategy for Sustainable Growth

I saw the prompt and remembered I didn't set any goal for the year of 2026 and I realize I've been setting only goals, not how exactly I should go about achieving those goals. I think that's where the prompt question about strategy comes in so I'll share my recent strategies I'm using to grow.

Before anyone would want to adopt my style for their own accounts, I'd love to start by saying it's not as easy as it may look because I'm only pushing forward with these strategies out of discipline, not motivation of any kind. Of course, the rewards at the end is a motivator but it's slow.

One thing I've learned about the Hive blockchain and using strategies is that, if you're too focused on the numbers, you'll be disappointed. I believe the ways we want to grow are in our earnings, savings, followers (engagement on our contents) and having a community that appreciates you.

What if you actually take your strategies from the bottom to top? Like building a community that appreciates you first, then focus on the few or many that engage with your contents and finally, watch how your earnings grow so you start saving for even more earnings. That's the hack.

Maybe it won't work for everyone but the only reason this wouldn't work is lack of discipline or being too focused in the earnings that you forget to engage with people who found your contents or comments, it won't work out well if you just focus on earning and saving but it's growth too.

That said, here is a simple strategy goal I've set for myself to win more in this year 2026. And it starts with the month of May. Yes, you could set a year's plan in any of the month, it's never too late. What really matters is, you'll go through it as you've planned and you don't have to achieve all.

Here is my Simple Strategy for my Hive account.

The prompt gave a list and like I've said, it starts from the bottom to the top for me. So I'm focusing more on engagement, my contents and growing by learning from other Hive users while I earn and try to save some of my earnings for more earnings. The plan is really a simple one.

I started a 30-Day challenge that has reignite the fire in me to engage more than I have done in the past months. It is also helping me keep really cool track of my life offline which is an amazing thing to happen to my Hive account (online life).

I don't have a content plan drafted out yet, but it's something I want to do so I don't struggle much on what to write and I'll have contents up that will drive engagement on the blockchain. I'm slowly learning how to create contents that will talk about who I am and be relatable with my readers.

For my earnings, it's only natural and quite expected that I'll earn more when I commit to engage with people through my posts, comments and short blogs (threads, waves and snaps). So I have a small goal drafted put to reach a certain amount of liquid Hive earned at the month's end.

With the earnings, I plan to save some and invest some for more earnings in the next month. Mind you, it will be little but that's a plan I'd really love to see to the end of because I've procrastinated long enough and I want to be more mindful of my spending now in the spirit of compounding, hehe.
