Building First So Future Needs Don’t Break You

You can call me the "no strategy five year old Hive user" that has not collapsed her account lol.

I mean, you can't blame me, all I was taught when I started out on Hive was, don't be in a haste to start taking out your money. Grow your money and later on, you can start paying yourself. That exact thing did I do, with no strategy put in place.

One thing I've learned about building wealth recently is, little amounts compound to big money that builds the wealth we want. The financial freedom we all seek doesn't come overnight and with no effort made, not that at all.

I learnt that long after I've been on Hive growing my account with no really clear strategy, I just followed what I see many others do. And thankfully, it's been working fine for me but no major growth that comes from some kinda shift.

What I mean is, there are way cooler strategies that would elevate ones account to build a level of wealth coming in, if we don't just stick to the normal and that is what almost everyone is doing. Personally, I have got no specific strategy.

I just join others to keep my staked power untouched for as long as I could before I hit the power button late last year when some things got rough for me. Believe me, I felt like I was breaking some very big rule when I hit the unstake button.

Well, it's not against the rule to pay yourself with what you've earned. But there is the inconsiderate, uncontrolled and unwise move with unstaking that should be taken note of and avoided. In other words, do consider others also.

Everybody's here to grow their stakes and we need each others stake to grow faster and bigger but if we would keep unstaking, we'd be left with stunted growth on the platform. This is why I stuck with the popular "Hive Power Up" strategy.

That helped me to grow my HP a lot and when the need came, I didn't need to empty my account or borrow to sort myself. So my advice from the experience I've had as a five year old Hive user is, "Build well first with the long term goal of gaining financial freedom, before serious needs arises.
