AI Is Powerful, But It Can’t Tell Your Story

I almost laughed when I read the prompt because I don't have a job at the moment, I'm still searching. Then, I remember "writing to earn" is a job too and one that AI can actually replace very easily in no time. But it's been quite a while that AI has been in place and I am still here writing.

I can't really say for sure what will happen in 10 Years as regards to AI against jobs but I do know a whole lot will change in that many years to come. It's all part of the world evolving and this is how it has been from the beginning of time and the progression of inventions and technology.

AI is dominating a lot now, there's almost nothing AI can't get involve with now, including jobs. If I am being honest, AI is amazing. I love how it gets a lot of thinking done in seconds, makes it easy for humans to come up with ideas and better way out of jobs that would have been way too tasking.

Making use of AI now makes me realize just how slow life was before now and in the aspect of jobs, how time consuming it was to get them done. AI has come to make things a bit easier, I acknowledge that part but one thing still holds true even in 10 years time, AI can not be humans.

There are still going to be a lot of things that only humans can do in the presence of genius AI. But the question now to me is, will my job exist in 10 years time? My answer is a big YES. My job will still exist by then, if I just try to keep learning more into it from now. And no, it's not "writing".

The job I have been learning into and I plan to keep learning is "Storytelling" and writing is only a part of this job. The main aspect of the job is actually telling stories in human emotional and relatable ways to bring to life memories that could have been long forgotten or even long lost.

I don't see how AI can replace that because AI can not tell my stories better than I will tell it myself. Maybe it could help me tell people's stories better but my stories will always be original because I am the one living it, not AI. I'll only need AI to articulate and write my stories.

But the stories have to be found, remembered, thought of and crafted before AI can act on it. Unless there is a AI can live as humans, there is no way AI can replace the job I am building on right now. It's why I'm taking it more seriously because I really can not imagine a world where most jobs are replaced by AI, that men created.
