When I started playing Splinterlands last year, I never thought that I would reach a stage where I would stand alongside other competitive players.

I initially started playing just for fun, completing campaign modes without any long term intention.

But as I kept playing the game regularly, I realized that I am actually learning how the game works, and now I feel it is the right time to set proper goals in Splinterlands.

Today, I was very close to reaching Silver League. There have been many times when I reached near Silver League and then got pushed back because of losing battles.

But today, I decided that no matter what happens, I would make sure to win the final battle and enter Silver League.

In the screenshot below, you can see that I was only 40 points away from reaching Silver League 3, and I was already on a 3 match winning streak. This meant that if I won the next battle, a new league would unlock.

As you can see in the next screenshot, the new league was unlocked successfully, which means I managed to win consecutive battles at the right time.

With the new league unlocked, I received the rewards that I had been waiting for. When I clicked on the rewards section, multiple chest boxes appeared on the screen, which can be seen in the screenshot below.

I was very excited to open them, but the rewards turned out to be quite basic. I mostly received energy, legendary potion charges, and a few common cards.

I usually feel happier when I get epic or legendary cards, so I was not very excited about these rewards. Still, reaching a new league is something worth celebrating.

After entering Silver League, I played my very first battle in this league. That battle can be seen in the screenshot below. It was a low mana cost battle, and the ruleset allowed only Earth element monsters.

Because of this, both me and my opponent used Aurelia as the summoner. I was surprised that my opponent did not use Dread Tafarian in such a low mana cost battle, because in my opinion, it is a very strong card for this situation.

As the battle progressed, we reached the final round where it was down to 2 monsters versus 1. At that point, the outcome was clear, and I won the battle comfortably. With this victory, I also unlocked my daily rewards from Silver League.

The biggest positive change after reaching Silver League is the improvement in daily rewards. In Bronze League, we used to receive 2 cards and 1 entry per 5 battle wins.

In Silver League, we now receive 3 cards and 2 entries daily, which is a significant improvement. Even though I did not get exciting cards from the Silver League chest rewards, my daily rewards were much better, as I won 2 epic cards and 1 rare card.

Silver League is clearly more challenging, and I can already feel the difficulty increasing.

However, I am ready to face these challenges because I am genuinely enjoying the game more than ever. That is everything I did in Splinterlands today.
