Splinterlands - Scales of Justice as the primary defender and winning my first ever daily rewards

I am back with a new Splinterlands blog for all of you. Today, I played many battles, but I am going to share the 2 best battles I played. Along with that, I am also going to share my very first daily rewards that I won in Splinterlands.

This clearly shows that I am improving my gameplay and strategy, and I have finally started earning rewards from the game.

In the screenshot below, you can see my lineup for the first battle. I took the fire summoner Barthalamus.

The very first monster I placed in the front was Scales of Justice. At first, I was not sure if starting the battle with this monster was the right decision. But thankfully, things worked out well for me.

As you can see in the screenshot below, in the final round there were 2 monsters remaining from the opponent team, while I still had 3 monsters left. At that point, the battle was clearly in my control, and I managed to secure the victory.

In the second battle, I used a different summoner from the life element, as you can see in the screenshot below. Once again, I was able to win the battle.

The opponent used Dire Bear, which is a strong card. However, in a low mana battle, this monster is not always the best choice because it costs 10 mana. Because of this, I was able to gain the upper hand.

In the screenshot below, you can see the final round of the battle where I managed to keep all my monsters alive until the end. This helped me win the battle comfortably.

Now comes the most exciting part for me. In the screenshot below, you can see my daily rewards. This is the first time I have ever won daily rewards in Splinterlands, and I was really excited about it.

As you can see, I won a card from the water element named Colossus Raider. Along with that, I also received 1 entry.

At first, I was not sure what this entry was for, so I did a little research. I learned that these entries give us a chance to participate in a weekly Frontier draw, where we can win additional rewards.

There are still 5 days remaining in the week, and I am going to try my best to complete my daily rewards every day. This way, I can collect more entries and increase my chances of winning something when the week ends.

That is all I did in Splinterlands today. I am really happy because I am starting to win battles more often, and the progress feels good.
