Splinterlands Moros Malik - A Low Mana Cost Monster but great addition to the team!

Greetings to all the readers here,

I am back with more Splinterlands battles today. I played 3 battles in a row, but in this post I am going to share the first 2 battles I played today.

In the screenshot below, you can see the rules for the first battle. It was a standard rule set with a mana cost of 26. Low mana battles are always tricky because you have to select your monsters very carefully.

In such battles, technique matters more than power, and one small mistake can cost you the match.

In the screenshot below, you can see my battle lineup. Just by looking at the opponent team, I was already worried about one monster named Moros Malik.

The reason I was scared of this monster was its opportunity ability, which allows it to attack the enemy monster with the least health. On top of that, the opponent also used Sorrow Harvester, which gives minus 1 maximum health to all enemy units.

This combination was enough for me to realize that the battle was going to be difficult. As soon as the battle started, Moros Malik eliminated my monsters one by one in the first 2 rounds. Very quickly, the battle turned into a 3 versus 1 situation, and I lost the match.

After that, I searched for another battle. This time, the mana cost was much higher, so I decided to try a different summoner. I went with Barthalamas, which gives +1 speed to all friendly units.

Along with that, I selected Echelon, which comes with the Opportunity ability, and Kanaak Miner, which has the Sneak ability. Both of these monsters cost 5 mana each.

I chose them because it is not always necessary to pick high mana monsters. Sometimes, low mana monsters can play a very important role in winning the battle. In the screenshot below, you can see my battle lineup.

As the battle progressed, we reached a point where it was 3 monsters versus 4 monsters, which showed that my team was doing well. At that stage, I felt confident about winning because of the remaining monsters on my side.

In the final round, all 3 of my remaining monsters survived, and I was able to secure the victory. This win was possible because of the summoner choice and the overall team combination. This time, my technique worked perfectly.

I also played one more battle today, and I was able to win that one as well. However, I will share that battle some other day. In that match, I used a summoner from a different category, which made the battle even more interesting.

That is all for today. I will be back soon with more Splinterlands battles and strategies.

Thank you
