Today I am going to discuss an event currently going on in Splinterlands where an epic card from the life element is available in a gold version. The name of the card is Cloveria Morthlana.

When I first noticed this exclusive event, I was not very excited. However, after doing some research on this card, I realized that it actually deserves attention. If you are actively playing Splinterlands, this is not a card you should ignore.
In the exclusive section, you can find this card available for direct purchase using vouchers. One card costs 250 vouchers. There is also a chance to receive a gold foil or even a black foil version, depending on whether you use potions or not.

Another option is the Gold Arcane Fortune Draw. If you own gold tickets, you can participate in this draw and stand a chance to win a gold arcane fortune version of the card.
In this blog, however, I want to focus mainly on the card itself and explain why I think it is worth paying attention to.
At the base level, Cloveria Morthlana comes with 3 ranged attack, 3 speed, and 3 health. The most important part is its default ability, Recharge. With this ability, the monster attacks every other round but deals triple damage.
That means whenever it attacks, it deals 9 damage in a single hit. This is a very high amount of damage and is enough to eliminate most monsters in one strike.

This alone already makes the card interesting. But things become even more impressive when we look at its maximum level.
At maximum level, the card gains multiple powerful abilities. The first additional ability is Ambush, which allows the monster to take an extra turn before the first round of the battle.
This means Cloveria Morthlana is guaranteed to attack early and put immediate pressure on the opponent.

The next ability is Camouflage. This ability prevents the monster from being targeted unless it is in the first position. This greatly increases its survivability, especially in battles where opponents rely on targeted attacks.
The final ability is Double Strike, which allows the monster to attack twice whenever it gets a turn. Now, when you combine Recharge with Double Strike, the potential damage becomes extremely high. Every other round, the card can deal 24 damage in total.
Because of this combination alone, I believe Cloveria Morthlana is a very powerful card and absolutely worth attention.

Even if you do not plan to buy it directly, once it becomes available on the market, renting it could be a very good option at a reasonable cost.
What do you think about Cloveria Morthlana, the epic card from the life element? Personally, I think it is a strong card with great potential and one that can change the outcome of many battles.
Thank you
