Greetings to all the readers here,

Here I am back again with a new Splinterlands blog. Today, after waking up and having my breakfast, I headed straight to the Splinterlands game because I was not able to play yesterday.
My goal was clear. I wanted to win 5 battles so that my daily rewards would be secured.
In the screenshot below, you can see the first battle that I want to share with all of you today.

The battle rules were from the standard category with a standard modifier, and the mana cost was 26. For this battle, I decided to take Aurelia as my summoner.

The main reason I chose Aurelia was because of a monster from the earth element named Dread Tafarian. This monster comes with a healing ability that restores 1 third of its maximum health every round.
Because of this ability, I felt confident using it in a low mana battle. My complete battle lineup can be seen in the screenshot below.

By the time we reached the final round, the situation was 2 monsters versus 1 monster. My Dread Tafarian clearly had the upper hand, as it had 7 health, while the opponent’s Tafarian had only 2 health left.
Even though it was Aurelia versus Aurelia and earth versus earth, I managed to secure the victory.

A lot of credit for this win goes to a card named Spellmonger. Many players tend to ignore this card, but I believe it is very useful in low mana battles.
Spellmonger has the Thorns ability, which returns 2 physical damage to the attacker whenever it is hit by a melee attack.
This means that if an opponent uses a melee monster against Spellmonger, that monster will take damage every time it attacks. After 2 attacks, the enemy monster would already have taken 4 damage on itself.

This strategy helped me win the battle. In an Aurelia versus Aurelia matchup and an earth versus earth fight, I was still able to come out on top.
After that, I went on to win 4 more battles and successfully completed my daily requirement.
In the screenshot below, you can see the daily rewards that I claimed. This time, I won a rare card, which is Scales of Justice. It is one of my favorite cards, so I was really happy about that.

Interestingly, I also won Dread Tafarian, the same card that helped me win the first battle of the day. That made the rewards feel even more special.
Overall, today was a very good day for me in Splinterlands. I achieved my goal, won my daily rewards, and learned more about effective low mana strategies.
That is all I did in the game today.
