Greetings to all the readers,
After a few weeks, I am finally back with both blogging and gaming. Splinterlands is the game I chose to play on the Hive blockchain after doing a lot of research, and thankfully, it worked out really well for me. Initially, I thought it might be a boring game, but as I started playing and learning it, I slowly developed an interest in it.

Today, I made a decision to buy some card packs from the game to improve my gameplay. From now on, I am also going to try to stay regular in the game.
First of all, I would like to share my gaming transfer page, where you can see that I transferred around 2000 DEC tokens into the game. With these 2000 DEC tokens, I hope to get some good cards that will help boost my performance.

Since I am still new to the game, I can only play Frontier Battle mode, and in Frontier mode, Foundation packs are the ones used.

So I went ahead and bought 7 Foundation packs. This was my first time investing money in the game, as until now I had only been playing for free. So yes, this was my very first pack opening experience.
I opened the first pack, and surprisingly, I got a gold card right away.

The name of the card is Kanaaq Miner, and I was really happy to get a gold card in my very first pack opening.

After that, I opened two packs at once, which gave me 10 cards in total. These could be legendary, rare, epic, or common, and either gold foil or regular.

And once again, I got lucky, I received another gold card, New Beluroc Aegis. Along with that, I also got three rare cards, and the rest were common.

Lastly, I opened the remaining four packs together, which gave me 20 cards in total. This time, I was quite satisfied with the results as well.

I got the following
A rare summoner in the first pack
An epic card in the second pack
Two rare cards and one epic card in the third pack (including another summoner)
one rare card in the fourth pack

Overall, I think my first pack opening experience went really well. You can see the sequence in which we opened them up, 1, 2, and then 4 packs together.

Now I will check if I can upgrade some of these cards and use them in battles to improve my win rate.
One more thing I wanted to ask is about the Summoner Spellbook. It costs $10, and it offers some rewards like:
5 starter packs
3000 credits
30-day battle reward boost

If this is a good deal, I am planning to buy it because it also unlocks more features in the game. I am already leaning towards buying it, but I would still love to hear suggestions from other players in the comments.
How many more packs should I open next in the game? I think 7 more is the idea for now so make sure to follow me and never miss my blogs and amazing pack openings.
