Assalamu Alaikum,
Today I am going to talk about a very sensitive topic, and it is about how we see girls and crimes related to them.
If you open Google and search for crimes related to girls, you are going to find a large number of cases reported very frequently.

Especially when it comes to mistreating women, harming their image, harassing them, or many other related crimes.
The sad part is that society is still not accepting the reality that it is not the mistake of girls, but the mistake of the criminals who commit these acts.
It can be a debatable topic whether a girl should wear long dresses or short dresses, or what modesty really means, but I do not want to talk about that.

I am here to talk about why criminals are so motivated and confident when committing crimes against women.
The very first reason, sadly, is society itself. Whenever we hear about a case where a woman is harassed, we see a divide in society.
One side of the people stand with the woman and support her, while the other side starts blaming her for various reasons.
Again, this is a debatable topic, but once a crime has been committed, we should only look at the criminal and not blame the victim. This is where, in my opinion, we are clearly lacking as a society.

The second issue is punishment. I still believe that my country does not have proper punishment for people who commit these crimes.
Take the example of people who committed similar crimes in the past. Even today, some people worship them. Take the example of Asaram Bapu.
He is out on bail for one month, and people, especially women were seen bowing down to him, even though he is a rapist. He is a rapist.
Yet we still see such behavior because, somewhere in our country, people become blind in their faith and personal beliefs.

They lose the ability to judge what is right or wrong, and what is justice and what is not. That is why we see such deep divisions in society.
I believe we definitely need stronger and more balanced laws. I hope that someday the people in power will sit together and seriously discuss this issue.
So they can come up with laws that cannot be misused, but are also strong enough to deliver justice to women. Right now, in my opinion, the rules and laws are simply not justified.
