Why Consulting a Pediatrician Is Important for Your Child’s Health
Assalamu Alaikum,
Today, I want to share why it is sometimes very necessary to consult a specialist when it comes to your child’s health.
Recently, I was thinking about how many parents today do not bother to visit a pediatrician for their child.
Instead, they go to a general doctor to treat whatever illness their child is going through.
Now, this is not completely wrong. However, when you consult a specialist, such as a pediatrician, they usually provide more appropriate treatment for children.
For example, whenever I visit my pediatrician, I rarely see him prescribing antibiotics to my son.
Most of the time, he simply asks us to monitor the situation, whether it is a fever or a cold. He only prescribes antibiotics when it is truly necessary.
On the other hand, when you visit a general doctor who mainly treats adults, they may prescribe antibiotics from the very first day.
While this might help your child recover quickly, the unseen and concerning part is that your child’s body does not get the chance to learn how to fight infections naturally.
Childhood is a time of learning, not only mentally and physically in the outside world but also internally within the body.
If antibiotics are given too frequently, the child’s body may become dependent on medication and may not build strong natural immunity.
Over time, the child might rely on medicines whenever they experience similar symptoms.
It is better to allow the child’s immune system to fight mild illnesses when possible and provide proper treatment at the right time. This helps ensure better health in the long run.
Pediatricians are specialists. They spend years studying and researching child psychology, child growth, and childhood diseases. That is why they are called child specialists.
Now, it is up to you to decide whether you want your child to be treated by a general doctor who may prescribe strong antibiotics immediately, or by a pediatrician who focuses on giving the right treatment at the right time, even if it takes a little longer for your child to recover.

In my golem overlord profile we were not there on time and we can only see parts to be looted.
I used half of the total attacks today and the results can be seen, we won very decent but the results were better compared to before.
