I am going to share something that made me emotional today. One of my friends messaged me and told me that she is getting married.

she invited me to attend her wedding next year. You will be surprised to know that I have not met this friend for more than a decade.

The reason behind our separation was very simple. When we were young and studying together, her parents shifted to a different city.

Because of that, she moved away, and at that time, there was no way for us to stay in contact.

Today, children are lucky because they can easily exchange numbers and stay connected, but I think this also has a negative side, where people do not always value the relationships they make.

Even after all these years, I remembered her clearly. I do not know how she got my number, but I am really happy that she contacted me and invited me to her wedding. I also told her that I am married now and that I am the mother of a beautiful baby boy.

I am not sure if I will be able to attend her wedding because it is quite far, but I will try my best to be there.

If my husband is free at that time, we will definitely try to go and bless the couple with our good wishes. Even if I am unable to attend, I will still send my blessings to her in every way possible.

This experience reminded me how valuable true friendship is. I have made many friends later in my life when I was more mature, but today I am no longer connected with many of them.

However, this friend and I were just children when we were separated, and even today, we connected instantly. We talked as if we had never lost touch, and that shows the strength of genuine connection.

Do you have a friend in your life whom you have known since childhood? It is a beautiful feeling to grow up with someone.

Sadly, I do not have many such friends because, like this one, many friendships were lost due to circumstances beyond our control.

Value your friends and do not let the importance of friendship fade because of digital devices. While technology makes it easy to connect with people, when something comes easily, we often forget its true value.
