The Harsh Reality of Life - Respect, Relationships, and the Role of Money
Assalamu alaikum,
In today's blog I will talk about the reality of life which I have myself realized over the period of last few years.
When I was a kid, I grew up around people who taught me so many spiritual things and till date I connect very well with all of that.
I grew up watching and learning good things where a person is not judged by money but how he/she is at heart.
You don't need to be rich in order to be a good human. You don't have to use money to earn respect in this world but was that actually true?
I am sad to say that I have realized that there are very very few people who will respect you or love you for who you are.
Most of them will make and break relations with you based on your financial status. If you are rich you will be surrounded but if now you might stay alone.
I still don't want to be that person who will respect and behave with someone based on their financial status but based on how they really are.
Do you think that money plays an important role in giving you the societal respect and other benefits? I really think money is important here in current generation.
We can debate on whether this should be done or not but we can not deny the fact that this is actually happening in the world now.
Anyways, the only thing I would like to say here to the people reading is that please secure those who value you irrespective of your financial status.
They are your real friends and family and never let them go away from you. Give them the equal respect and love as they deserve the most.
Also, the one who stands with you by your side in tough times deserves to be with you when you are in good times.
