Not About Politics, Just About Safety and Peace : A Prayer for My Dad and Everyone Stuck Abroad
Assalamu Alaikum,
Recently, because of the geopolitical tensions, a lot has happened in the world.
I do not know much about the market, but I know it has had a negative impact, while assets like gold and silver have actually seen some positive price movement.
I am not bothered about any of these things. The only thing I am concerned about is the future consequences that might happen because of the harsh incidents that have taken place in the last 24 to 48 hours.
My dad lives in Dubai, and Dubai was targeted as well. There is a US base in Dubai, if I am not wrong, and it was targeted.
The Dubai airport has been temporarily halted, so there are no flights to Dubai and no flights coming from Dubai to India at the moment.
At this time, I only pray for all the people, because I know whenever war occurs, common people suffer the most.
I truly hope that all innocent people stay safe. My uncle was supposed to come back to India.
He is also working in Dubai, and he is stuck there. He does not know if he will be able to come home for the festival of Eid or not.
Similarly, in many other countries, the situation might become worse because of what Iran might do in the coming days, as they have issued a harsh warning about future consequences after recently losing their leader.
I am not here to support or oppose any of the parties involved. The only thing I want to say is that I am against violence, and I am against innocent people getting killed.
I was going through many tweets and social media posts where people were not supporting any of the countries involved in the conflict.
Most common people are trying to stay away from what is happening because they know that if things escalate further, innocent lives will suffer.
Anyway, I hope my dad stays safe, and I pray for everyone who is studying or working outside India and is stuck there.
May God protect them and keep them safe. Take care, everyone, and keep praying for the best.
