Child Psychology - Understanding Kids Through the Slow Approach

Today I am going to talk about the slow approach. The slow approach in raising your kids is one of the most necessary things parents miss today.
The slow approach does not mean your child is different from others, but it simply means that initially you need to start slowly compared to other children.
This can vary from child to child. Every child is not on the same IQ level or on the same mental level. So you have to approach the kid based on what they are capable of.
For example, if you start teaching a kid today about alphabets and he grasps it easily, you are going to feel comfortable and you are going to move on towards writing them and then teaching them small alphabets, capital alphabets, etc.
But for example, if a kid is unable to grasp ABCD and is unable to learn it properly, then you have to give time, you have to change the approach, and that is where the slow approach comes into play.
This can include teaching them in different ways, like using symbols. If you are already using symbols, maybe try using infographics or videos that are going to help the kid properly.
Sometimes what happens is that when a kid goes to school, there are a few kids who come prepared beforehand.
There are parents who actually prepare their kids so that they are going to shine in school on the very first day.
They already know what alphabets are, they already know how to write, but there is one particular kid or a group of kids who are going to school for the first time.
They have never heard about alphabets, what A is, what B is, and that is where the problem arises.
That is why the teacher approaches all the kids neutrally, not creating any favoritism or not thinking beforehand about what a child might know.
The teacher will actually start from the beginning. That is the slow approach, no matter if the kid is extraordinary, average, or below average.
That is the approach of a proper teacher, and that should be the approach of a good parent as well.
So if a teacher can do that in a group of students, then you as a parent must definitely practice this as well. The slow approach is very important. I hope I was able to explain it. That's all.
