Whenever you see consistency in advancements in the life of an individual, just note that there is a level of commitment and discipline attached to it.

This is something we always want to happen to us but then the process is sometimes the problem for us.

I have on countless occasions set goals that should help me grow in this place (hive platform) but somewhere along the line I discover it's not working and that is simply because there was no commitment and discipline attached to it.

To be very sincere, this year. I have tried to set a growth plan on this platform, trust me it has nothing to do with the inflow, all I want is visibility, a very simple task to carry but I do not always have an abundance of time on myself.

I read Ahama’s post where she talked about how we sometimes look majorly at the numbers that should be added as a result of our growth plan but it's always discouraging.

It's very true when we no longer give in to things that are not bringing forth as aspected the numbers we need.

Starting from the bottom is the secret of growth, keeping it simple and consistent is the strategy and we all know that the bottom will not always give us what we want and that's simply because it's not visible, the foundation always holding a building is not seen but it's what makes the building stand.

I have been practicing this for sometime now and I think it's working just the way I want it to.

I have decided to make sure I always visit my hive platform even if I won't engage with posts. What I want is to master the act of always coming here and I am sure that by the time I have achieved this i.e Visiting the blockchain on a daily basis. Then other things can follow like trying to engage with people and communities which is one of the things that brings visibility.

Note; this part of the plan has nothing to do with your earnings as what you earn as a result of this simple but difficult task if discipline is absent will not even get you a chocolate not to talk of your basic need.

Your level of engagement with people is what will make people want to engage with you as well. By the time you begin to present things for them to see, you have tried as much as possible to make yourself seen by people.

The truth of the whole matter is that I am still at the very foundation of this plan which is still visiting the blog and tip toe-in into some post with a little contribution.

This has helped me to at least drop a post even though it's not daily but I can tell that I have improved in terms of posting compared to last year.

All thanks to the @ecency platform who will always send a notification telling how consistent I have been in checking in, this has helped and kept me on track making sure that I keep the streak going.

Discipline is the key word in all of this.
