Yup, I said it. Medicine is the best medicine.
Laughter isn't the best medicine especially when it comes at your expense.
If you are worried how am I feeling? I am feeling much better than yesterday. And that's a Win. The meds are working, and I can speak without turning my lungs into a broken diesel engine.
Let me tell you what happened today. If you were expecting a story or some random post, sorry you will have to wait for a day or two. You will have to make do with these health updates. Anyway, I was feeling good in the morning, so I visited the office. You know just to put my brain at rest otherwise, it kept on playing What-ifs. I decided to have the mask on and gloves the entire time I was there.
Today only I realised that my colleagues can be brutal at roasting, Usually, it is me who grills them but today was not my day.
A colleague greeted me with "Doctor Nukesh. Emergency in room number 2." Another one congratulated me for picking up 'Beatboxing' as a new hobby. Got a mean nickname too. And one called me a Traitor for leaving him out of the Coughfest. Now I am not sure whether to be happy that I have such a sweet friend, or sad that I have such a dumb sweet friend. Either way, I had a good laugh. Some of the remarks were mean and that made me realise that sometimes I need to watch what I say to people.

Tomorrow I am going back to the doctor, just to get checked on why is it taking so long to get me fixed.
