Hive is indeed one of the best platforms in my eyes, and I think that no other Web 3.0 platform is better than Hive. It was good for me to join this platform at an early stage. When I joined this platform, the price of HIVE was quite good, and the rewards were also quite good. In the beginning, I was earning a good amount from here. Unfortunately, those days are like fairy tales right now because the price of HIVE dropped significantly, and I never imagined seeing the price where it is now. I am also earning a little from here, but compared to the past, it’s almost nothing. Many people have already left the platform because of low income, but what actually keeps me here? Are you curious to know? Let me share about it.

The first thing is hope. I heard some people saying HIVE is dead and not going to recover anytime soon. Such a thing indeed hurts a lot, and I also know the logic behind their thoughts, and it’s not fully illogical either. But I still believe that HIVE can reach its prime state someday, which is just a matter of time, but I don’t know how much time it will take. I don’t even know if it will reach that place either. In a word, I am gambling, just depending on the potential of the Hive platform and thinking about the long term. It’s not necessary that I am right, but I want to gamble with what I have, and with a low price I can gather more HP, which will give me great returns if the price starts to rise.
The second thing that keeps me on the Hive platform is the friends I made here. I think that on this platform I made some good friends whom I actually consider my greatest asset here. I never met them, but somehow I can connect with them very easily. Maybe it’s just because I became friendly with those people, with whom I can connect in a better way. Additionally, understanding their thoughts also helps me think from different perspectives. I always feel that I have something new to learn from them, and it’s very helpful in my real life as well.
The third thing is earning. I know earning from the platform is not something huge, but it’s still considered earning, and it’s continuous. Continuous earning means that, with time, the asset will increase, and it also allows me to invest in many other projects. Earning on a continuous basis is powerful, and it’s natural for me to stay stuck to Hive as it allows me to earn continuously, even if it’s not as huge as in the earlier days.
The final thing is that there are many other social platforms, and on those platforms, most people are wasting their precious time and, in return, they are not getting anything. Besides, most people are busy showing a fake personality on social media, but on Hive I am getting rewarded for my time, and here I am connecting with genuine people. I can connect with them through their posts and engagement as well as their thoughts. So, I never felt that other platforms can replace Hive’s position. Additionally, Hive is a decentralized platform, which allows me to speak whatever I want without any kind of restriction, and it’s something very important in my opinion.

That’s the real answer, intishar — people stay for conviction and connection long after the easy money leaves. Price brings tourists; community keeps the locals. Your post nails that difference better than most market commentary does. Your post.
The image works too. That lone figure facing a rough landscape with the Hive symbol and linked faces above it says exactly what your words say: the platform survives when hope and people survive. It’s a little dramatic, sure, but in a good way — Web3 without a bit of drama would be illegally boring.
You’re also not imagining the wider mood. People have been talking about shrinking rewards, uneven retention, and whether holding HP is still worth it, but that debate itself proves the chain still has believers, not just drive-by speculators. A few useful reads around that theme: Why don't you want hive power?, Hive in 2026: A Small Community, Big Votes, and the Vanishing Veter....
My take: staying only for income is fragile; staying for relationships plus long-term upside is rational. That’s not blind faith — that’s understanding that markets move in cycles, while reputation, network, and accumulated HP can compound quietly in the background.
Weldon bro, it feels good to be here regardless the value of hive. I have learnt, I have made reasonable and quality friends, and I receive value for every time spent here. Tell me where else should I go.
