Hive is indeed one of the best Web 3.0 platforms, and if you are already here, that means you are already ahead of many other Web 2.0 platform users. I mean, you are advanced compared to others, as most of the people are still busy with the Web 2.0 platforms. I have been here more than 4 years, and I am very close to 5 years. Naturally, I have experienced many things, and I have a lot of things to share with a new user. I discussed the suggestions for new users many times, and for the contest, many users will also discuss the same. So, I think I am going to share only some crucial information with you in simple words. Let’s start.
You must come here with a motive for sure. For most of the people, it’s for earning, and in my case, it was also the same. I don’t think it’s so hard to accept. It’s ok to expect money from anywhere where you are making efforts and giving your precious time. But at the beginning, earning seems difficult for newbies unless they are lucky. It’s natural because in the beginning, people don’t get the attention of whales. Besides, whales try to ensure not to upvote the wrong person. So, at the beginning, you can’t expect too much. You need to be patient for a few months.
When you are new here, you are nobody here; I mean, nobody knows about it. How will people know about you? So, you need to engage with others, and with continuous engagement, people will start to notice you and will be friendly with you. It should be consistent. Only making posts is not called engagement. You need to read the posts of others and, if possible, leave a meaningful comment, which can leave a good impression about you to the authors. I won’t say many things about engagement, as many discuss it again and again.
Having a long-term vision is required here. If you think that you can come and go here and make money quickly, then you are welcome to leave because you will waste your time here, even if it’s for a little. But in the case of a long-term plan, you are very welcome here, and you may think about achieving financial freedom. I know many people will say power up all in the beginning, as it’s fuel here. I also agree with it, but I recommend you keep a little stable fund here at least. Don’t power up all. You can try to save 10-25% HBD or other stable funds here. I would recommend more if the price of HIVE were high. From my experience, I feel having some stable funds here is very necessary, no matter how small it is. I think it’s a suggestion many people won’t suggest to you, but I think it can be a good strategy in the long term. So, don’t take it lightly.
Keep the mentality of learning, and I guarantee you that you will be able to gain knowledge and learn many things from here that you didn’t learn in school. And don’t be jealous to see others earning. You may think their content is not so good as yours, but keep in mind that you are not the one to judge. Be polite to others and don’t spread toxicity. I think those are quite simple things I wanted to share with a newbie on this platform.
I didn’t bring technical terms to avoid complexities, but I am ready to help you if you need my help. Feel free to ask me any time if you face any difficulties. I will try to assist you according to my capabilities.

If you think that I violated any rules of this platform or my word hurting you or I made any mistakes here , let me inform about it through comments or my other social network . I will try to correct it if I made any mistakes.
