HIVE AT $1 WOULD MEAN MORE THAN PROFIT

Not to lie, if Hive ever becomes $1, I will first be excited.

Not only due to the price.

However, it would mean something because of what it would symbolize.

It's easy for many people on the outside of Hive to see only the surface-level aspects of crypto... the chart and the price, the profit, the hype. However, for those of us that have been here consistently, engaged in communities, powered up and seen the ecosystem slowly evolve over time, it is a milestone deeper than money.

It will be as though proof.

An example of the value of taking your time.

I also know myself at the same time.

I might not want to sell everything off now.

Well, that's not surprising to me in some sense; there was a time when I wasn't sure about the long term. Withdrawal was always the first reaction to an anytime reward.

It can happen to anyone in real life!

Especially in Nigeria where a bill does not wait for market conditions.

After a few months on Hive, I came to a new understanding of long-term growth.

I wonder why they say so much about power ups and a progressive build.

If I were to invest in Hive, I would probably do it in two parts if it went up to $1 today.

It would certainly be in my personal benefit that I take some of that profit, and, as genuine as financial responsibility is, it is. It's okay to take advantage of the fruits of your labor.

But, another part of me would still continue building.

Because I feel the bigger opportunity is not only the price, it's your positioning yourself earlier than bigger adoption.

I personally still think that Hive can still grow to $1.

Not overnight.

The beauty of Hive over many of the other platforms is that it's not all hype.

Here there is real community.

That's more important than others realize.

Many projects live on a high of excitement, but die down. People do create, interact, write, build communities, and contribute regularly and consistently and this is what has made Hive alive.

The human factor of this is significant.

As without the people, Hive is just another blockchain.

I believe that if Hive ever hits $1, it will have a profound impact on people on a psychological level.

Those who had wondered about the consistency of their users would find one day to their surprise that their small efforts had been rewarded.

Those who started their machines at a low level over a period of years would now start having palpable results.

Newer users will also likely begin paying more attention to the platform.

Having a better price for the Hive would give me room to breathe.

More flexibility.

Increased confidence in the possibilities of a long-term online income.

I'm not being overly dramatic or anything, but it would inspire me more on a creative level as well, since their is something powerful to being rewarded for your thoughts, experiences, and consistency.

In a world where a lot of platforms are benefiting creators yet providing very little in return.

I believe it is sustainability by community that is the true power in Hive.

It's communities that hold people around when there is no growth, during bear markets, during low motivation periods.

The comments.

The support.

The engagement.

When people feel like they're reading your work.

That's hard to find these days on the internet.

So yes indeed, should Hive ever hit $1, I will celebrate.

But more importantly, I shall probably think about the way I’ve come here.

The reality of it is, however, that many people only see success at the end of the journey.

They cannot see the months or years that people have worked hard and worked quietly before everyone else noticed them.
