The Hour That Could Change Everything

I have seen it in some of these Marvel or science fiction movies how time paused for a few minutes, but in reality, I sometimes think of how life would look if time could suddenly pause and I were the only one who had that opportunity to walk around freely. Just imagine a Sunday praise service standstill, the hustling and buzzing of everyday life taking a stop for a few moments, and that crowded traffic and market just ceasing too. And if that miraculously occurred, these are the things I will gladly do.

My first moment of action is that I will take a deep breath. In my country, where everything feels like a restless and unending marathon, searching for daily bread, finding means to meet up with deadlines, searching for money, a wobbling economy, an unstable electricity supply from the government, and staying on a very long queue to buy fuel during the fuel scarcity that seems to come to an end.

Those few moments of time paused will surely allow me to breathe freely and give my soul, body, and mind everything it needs to be able to think freely without being pressurized. And just like I usually see in those movies, I will surely take a walk around to appreciate the serenity that comes with it, enjoying the moment, and giving thanks to the source that created life for how amazing life could be without being in a hurry.

Apart from enjoying and appreciating those things I mentioned above, I will definitely use that moment to give to the community and those who I can be able to help by putting some bags of food and needed things into the hands of the less privileged, especially those who are homeless and are sleeping in front of people's shops or under all these bridges. And I will also be motivating all the students who are already feeling tired by dropping encouragement notes on their desks.

Of course, nobody is going to know the identity of the person behind the smile on their face, but they will definitely feel the touch of the generous act of kindness when the paused time is played again. Personally, that is going to be a genuine gift for that moment no selfie interest, just a pure act of kindness in a quiet way.

Without a doubt, those few moments of time paused cannot change the situation of my country or the world entirely, but one thing I am sure of is that it will make a change to me. Because it will make me realize how precious time is and that the truth of the matter is how I was able to spread out love and what I collect for myself.

In summary, I will make that paused moment to make the world a better place for you and me in the little way that I can.
