Here where I live lots of plastic is collected to be recycled. The so called PMD. Plastics, metals and drinkcartons. Each 2weeks they pick up the blue bags placed outside the houses. This way this isn’t thrown in the garbage bins and becomes just waste, but gets a second life.

Oh that's a very good thing. In many places the recycling initiatives have been going on but we still need a lot more awareness.
