YouTube Premium Subscription due!

YouTube is one of the platforms that is in high demand because a lot of people use this platform for videos. I have been using it for a long time, and to be honest, I don't remember when I started watching YouTube because it's been a long time, and for many years I have been using a premium subscription as well because it gives me a good experience.

With a premium subscription, I don't need to watch ad and this ad free experience is amazing watch ad and this ad fee experience is amazing. I use the YouTube application on my phone, and I also watch it on TV. So everywhere I enjoy the same experience without any advertisements, and when I try, I also use the YouTube Premium, ads are part of the benefit I get from the YouTube Music application without any advertisements as well. Along with this, I also get some additional features, like I can play videos even when my phone screen is locked, so I do not need to unlock my screen and also do not need to keep it on, which I think is another fantastic feature provided to Premium subscribers.

My premium renewal is due this week, and obviously I'll do the renewal, but I was thinking that in the last few years YouTube has increased its pricing and they offer two types of plans. They are offering a single individual plan and also a family plan, but I have not opted for the family plan and even have no plan to make any change in my subscription. Every time I have opted for a one-year plan because I don't want to pay every quarter, and that is the reason why this one-time payment is a good option for me, so I just pay it once and enjoy the services for the entire year, and I feel this is also a cost-effective plan.

I tried checking if I can top up my subscription on top of my current active subscription for a year, but I could not get that option, and all that I was getting was for three months only, so I am waiting once the subscription is expired then I will see what are the options are available because my preference is to go far whole year instead of a month plan.

I don't like auto-renewals of any subscription, and this is why I prefer to pay upfront, because this way control remains in my hands, so when I want, I can choose not to renew and there will be no deduction from my card or bank account. I also noticed that the price was increased in 2024, which is two years ago, from 1290 to 1490 Indian rupees. Currently, it is roughly 15 or 16 dollars in US dollars for the entire year, but still, a lot of people don't go for it because they consider it expensive. I think it's about the experience and choice that anyone can have, so I prefer to pay for it because I don't want to spend time on unnecessary advertisements. And this is what makes me pay because I find it worth it to save my time, and I basically consume a lot of content in day-to-day life. Thank you!
