Why I post Blogs with 100% HIVE power up!things will

Hello Hive Fam

Good day to you all, and I hope you're having a good time wherever you are.

I have been publishing my blogs with the 100% Hive power-up option for the last few months. This is a very good practice, I believe, to grow the hive power on this platform, and since I'm committed to the long term in this blockchain network, I believe this is a fantastic way I can add more value to my wallet as well as this entire ecosystem. You can see me posting all the blocks with this option for the last few months, and I don't remember exactly when I started, but I'm happy that this practise is ongoing with all my blogs, and I will continue to do this.

I have invested a good amount of money in the token, and I did the investment when the coin price was very high, so my average buying price is generally 20 cents and above. This time, when the coin price is less than $5, roughly my investment has gone down. I still believe in this platform, and I hope that things are going to be great once the market moves into a better situation, which can be the next market cycle.

I read an article by @friendlymoose yesterday, and it was more about hive extraction and KE ratio. I was aware of the KE ratio, but I did not know how it can help the platform if we all start following it on the duration side, and the aspect explained in the article was really interesting, which I liked a lot.

I have started following the KE ratio while I curate the content on this platform, and I'm also trying to grow my power as much as possible this time when the coin price is low. If I talk about my investment, then surely I am down, but I believe that since this platform has great potential, it can bring better returns in the future, and before that happens, I'm trying to take this opportunity and grow my HP as much as possible.

While I'm not able to invest more money into the coin, since I also have some other commitments and I have already done it after joining the platform, I find that if I continue to post blogs using the 100% power-up option, this is also a kind of investment that I am doing to add more value to my wallet. My KE ratio is 0.2, which means the HPI held in my wallet is 4 times more than I earned on this platform since the beginning.

I am not a pro in crypto, and there are so many things that I'm still learning. But one thing I have realised based on my research and study is that people who invest during the bear market make more money when the market turns bullish, provided they have chosen the right project, which I hope I have done. I have also invested in some other crypto coins along with Hive, so I'm following a diversified approach, and I am hoping that at least some of the coins in My Portfolio will do great in the next market cycle. I do know when that is going to happen, so in a way it's a long-term investment.

Thanks for the mention.
Did you know you could see from the Hive icon in PeakD (I don't know what front-end you use) what the payout option was set for a post?

The fully red Hive logo means 100% Powered Up.
A fully black one means 50% Powered Up, 50% HBD.
A drop means liquid Hive.
A (partial) flame means burn post.
When the number has been striked through, payouts are declined.
A text balloon means commentrewarder enabled.

I think these were it.
So when curating you can see which posts are set to 100% power up.
One can still power down after payout, but that will take a few weeks.

With the current value of Hive, it really isn’t worth withdrawing from the platform—it breaks my heart to see that withdrawing, say, $5 from over 100 Hive is basically a waste. I’ve been making some posts with 75% HP and others with a 50/50 split.

Because of Hive Grove, I’ve been making the 50/50 posts to generate revenue for the game, but I think that in the end I’ll end up leveling up a lot anyway, and that’s pretty cool too.

All my posts are 100% power up unless I made a mistake and left it at a default 50/50. When that happens I just manually power it up.
