Hello, Hive Fam!
I hope life is treating you well wherever you are in the world.
Everyone likes sale time because this is the time when one can buy things at a highly discounted price. In India, online platforms are offering heavy discounts these days as part of their annual sale. During the Diwali festival, these online marketplaces announce a sale for various items. These platforms are Amazon and Flipkart, which are running a sale for now, and it will continue to run until the Diwali festival.

Like many other people, I also like sale time because this is the kind of opportunity when I can buy things at a highly discounted price. I wanted to buy my phone this time. However, during the 15th August sale, I also got a decent deal, so I purchased my phone at that time. I see that the prices are even lower in this sale, but it's fine because there is a difference of just ₹4,000 to ₹5,000. I'm fine with that because I got the device almost 2 months back!
Now, because the phone is already purchased, I'm not planning to buy anything else. That is the reason I'm not doing any shopping online in this festival sale run by online shopping websites. While I am not shopping, most of my friends and colleagues are doing a lot of shopping. They keep on sharing it while having discussions with them, which I think is good because probably people have been waiting for a long time to buy that stuff. Now that the sale is here, it makes sense for them not to miss this opportunity and get the most out of it!
Every year, I do buy something, but I think this is the first time I'm not buying anything from both marketplaces during their annual and festival sale time. Obviously, I am buying small things which are necessities, and these are part of grocery shopping, but not something big like any electronic gadget or any expensive item during the sale time from these Amazon and Flipkart websites. I feel like I am getting 100% off on the deal because, technically, I'm not spending any money on the shopping. It is a good time for me also, and I am enjoying it even when I'm not shopping!

With these large sales, prices often are raised in the months before the sale.
So, always check the price changes of the products in sale too.
I often wait for black Friday to buy some things I already need.
And indeed, when you don't buy things, you're always saving.
