Helping a Stranded Driver at Night

Yesterday I was coming back home after dinner at night, and on the way I saw someone standing on the road asking for help. This is a road that is not very crowded in my time, and even during the day, you can't see a lot of vehicles on the road. A guy was there on the road, standing next to his car, and before I could reach the spot, I saw that a few cars did not even bother to slow down their vehicle. He was using his hands to ask for help, and I noticed it even when I was about 200 meters away.

I slowed down my car and parked it at the side of the road. Because the car was on the side where parking a car is not a good idea, I parked on the side to avoid any problem for other people. I went there and asked the person what had happened and how I could help him. he told me that because there were a few dogs on the road, I wanted to save those dogs. He had to take a sudden break because I've reached the car, which got disbalanced and hit the divider. His car was badly damaged, and even the airbags were open, but fortunately, he was not injured, which is good.

The car was not in a condition to move further. There was significant damage to the driver's side, and even the engine mobility tank was damaged. It's a Toyota car. Why suggested him to check the application, and there should be some option for roadside assistance. Find my Maruti car owner, so I know that this option is available in the app, and I believe that other car manufacturers are also providing those options that are much needed in case of an emergency. I think he was not aware but after I suggested him, he opened the app, and he got the contact number for Toyota Customer Support. he had no subscription for the roadside assistance service But when he called up then the company support told them that they will be helping a but the service will be chargeable since he is not the member Roadside Assistance Service.

their turn around time was 75 minutes after booking the service. He booked the service and made the payment online, but he had to wait about one hour, maybe more. So I could not wait that long. I could not stay for that long. But it's still before I left the place, I made sure that he had the contact information of the vehicle that was coming to help him. It's a basic help that anybody can do if it is possible, because when something goes wrong, people generally get panic and that is when a little help makes a big difference.

It is basic that when we see someone in need, we should stop and try to help whatever is possible. I did not do anything extraordinary when all I did was to help him get the contact number so that he could reach out to the support and ask for help, which took about 15 minutes of mine. And everyone should do this. Thank you!
