Happy Republic Day 2026

It's Monday, 26th January, and it's a special day for Indians. It's Republic Day today, and I wish all of my friends a very happy Republic Day. It is also a public holiday for a lot of organisations, so people get some time to spend with family and friends, and also celebrate the patriotic vibes. indeed a special day I would say for all of us to celebrate and realise how great the country is for us, as citizens of the country should always do something that can add more value to the country, because we do not exist if the country is not there. It's we who make the country, so if we do a good thing, it's obviously the outcome is also going to be good for the country.

India is commemorating its 77th Republic Day today (January 26, 2026). The country's President Droupadi Murmu will unfurl the national flag at Kartavya Path in New Delhi to mark the beginning of the annual Republic Day parade

This is the 77th Republic Day. I am the President of India, who unfurled the national flag today. Post this, the annual Republic parade starts, and this is broadcast live on many channels, so I watch it and enjoy it.

The celebration is the same, more or less, every year, but even though I know what is going to happen, I still enjoy it every year, and I spend about half an hour or one hour, whatever the time needed, to go through that live broadcasting, which makes me feel good. The entire family sits in front of the television to watch that broadcast we all enjoy it together. As a citizen of the country, it's a great feeling to see how the country is doing in terms of multiple aspects. Defence shows off its innovations and what sort of weapons or equipment it has.
