My love for reading

Hello my wonderful members and friends of hive, I welcome you all to another interesting week filled with joy and happiness. I read whenever I have free time, reading has always been a way for me to explore and have big imagination. Whether I am reading about a boy who live in a house where they maltreat him or a girl is being forced to marry a man she doesn't want to. Reading allows me to put myself into the story and imagine if I was there to create memories. Growing up reading was never forced upon me, but neither did I frowned at it. I saw my family members always glued to their books reading, sharing their ideas and thought about a particular book they have read, perhaps this was what instilled in me a desire to venture into reading or maybe its something i naturally like to do.

As I got older, I find myself trapped in books always reading, wanting to know more and having a curious mind. I would read something for fun but even at that I still find myself stumbling upon new words and the urge to get their meaning. I read different kinds of books such as novel, story book, historical books, science books , sometimes i read magazines and newspapers.

You must read to be a good writer, first reading is a cheap way to get information and entertainment of all kinds and moreover, books can be kept for a long time without getting damaged and also have the advantage of reading it over and over again. Thus, reading is a convenient way for me to
gain a resourceful amount of information, it also contributes to my vocabulary expansion. The more books I read the more words I get exposed to and they will inevitably get stored in my mind, That also helps to improve my memory. Sometimes I read for a long period of time after having a hard and gruelling day as it set my mind to relax whenever I am reading.

Just like any other writer, reading has help me improve with words and the use of my sentence. For me i see reading as a recreational activity, that is activity we love doing in our free time and reading is part of mine, It covers all aspects of mans life and provides both pleasure and knowledge. For most people who a glued to their screen take a time off and pick a book and start reading because it has a lot of advantage.
