Towards Growth on the Blockchain: My 2026 Strategy

(edited)

While I didn't consider this plan of a thing when I first came into the blockchain, the more time I spent time here has compelled me to do that. Well, I didn't possibly see myself staying this long here but I guess Hive got a hold of me. Through engaging and reading the content of others who have been here for some time or long enough, seeing their plans and strategy helped to make me see why I needed that too, since I'm not leaving the blockchain.

I remember a contest or so organised earlier this year by the @hivecreatorsday team which welcomed users to share their 2026 Focus, capturing their goals. Some closed-ended and open-ended questions were prepared where one could choose a minimum to a maximum number of questions that suit one's goals or interests. I remember doing that and now it somehow aligns with this topic here.

One of my major goals on Hive this year was to stake at least 2,000 HP. This sounded huge to me even as I set the goal, but then, I have to try. Somehow, I've already achieved 1,000 HP which is quite fascinating, considering I wasn't expecting to reach it that soon. Now, I look forward to making it to that mark of 2,000 HP as planned and set as a goal. I understand what HP means in this blockchain and the power of it. This makes it a major part of my goal.

When we talk about HP, it involves earning rewards as well, and doing things like powering up. So, earning rewards is part of my growth strategy on the blockchain. For the sake of growing my HP and also other things. My reward remains the 50/50 ratio. Sadly, HBD isn't available now. My strategy was to keep the reward ratio that way, except otherwise. Then the HBD earnings can be used for cashing out, powering up or even saving up for interests. I'm still hoping to work with that.

My content is a major part of this growth strategy, since that's what I have for now to bring any growth or earnings to my account. I recall filling out I'll be publishing 300 posts on the blockchain this year in the Hive 2026 Focus I talked of earlier. Consistently showing up and writing almost every day, I think I've gotten far with that. But it isn't just about writing every day, but also with quality and intentionality, and everything to make my blogs look better than the previous year.

I must say I've found interesting communities that help me actualise this goal. My blogs are much more diverse and I've seen more engagement with me doing much of that as well. And one result I had hoped and intended as a strategy for growth was to gain more connections, which I've seen through these engagements. Recently, I've been touching on other ways of making more content and doing more engagement through microblogging, and it's been helpful.

Well, let's keep growing.

This is my response to the IndiaUnited Contest.
