Half the Year Has Passed – What's Going On With Your Goals?"
Hello, amazing #indiaunited friends, happy weekend. I trust your day is going well. This theme reminds me that wishes are not horses. It also reminds me that sometimes we propose, and God disposes. Better still, nature disposes. It has been a bittersweet moment in my country of origin. A lot of insecurity and all sorts of negativity have affected not only businesses but also humans. However, in the face of these challenges, I have celebrated little wins and braced for the future.

Generally, I started the year very optimistic, with loads of goals, visions, and missions, and good plans to follow through and achieve them. I have two categories of goals: collective and individual goals. So, I have ticked all the collective goals I wrote down as a household.
For example, some home appliances were due for an upgrade, as agreed, we are to focus on them from January to March of this year, and I am happy to say that we have been doing so gradually and intentionally.
My core goals started counting this May. Some of which are to update my certificates. For example, complete the AI and Data Analytics training I have been working on and obtain the hard copy of my MBA certificate in the second half.
Initially, the plan was to take them along with each other; however, the financial burden became overwhelming. As a result, the resolve was to take on only the collective goals while I push the other ones to the second half and 3rd quarter of the year.
Though it hurts that I pushed some goals to the 3rd quarter, the most important thing is that I am not giving up on those goals. I am not where I used to be; a lot of plans, repositioning, and strategising have been done. I have also reviewed my goals and pushed the unmet ones from the previous quarter to the second half of the year.

I plan to keep tabs on my remaining goals for the year, such as obtaining licenses and seeking a career upgrade, while keeping an eye on my health, eating right, meditating, going on summer vacation, exercising, and staying active, because health is wealth. A living man is better than a dead Lion.
