I joined Hive blockchain about ten months ago. While I was going through the onboarding process, I was trained on so many things, and one of them was to participate in Hive Power Up on the first day of every month and consistent power-ups on any other day outside the Hive Power Up Day. I was also advised not to be pushed to withdrawals as it will deplete my resources and affect my growth on the blockchain.
Furthermore, I learnt that my Hive power is my ticket to strategic positioning on the Hive blockchain. It determines my voting strength, my level of curation rewards, amongst other things.
Without much ado, I would say my strategy is powering up intermittently and intentionally. In March 2026, I won 10 HBD for consistently powering up, no matter how little. That reward motivated me to continue with the daily power-up. However, there was a series of inconsistencies. Yet, I power up, no matter what the figure says.
Recently, I came to understand the different categories of users in the Hive blockchain and their impacts, including beginners, Minnows, Dolphins, Orca, and whales. It also means putting a lot of work into consistent quality posting, curating, and engaging with others, which will lead to organic growth.
Therefore, consistent and intentional Hive Power-Up is my sure plug to growth and development. Together we achieve this aim. As I power up, make quality posts, and curate, I grow, which will grow the community and have a triple chain reaction of development on the blockchain through our daily genuine interactions.
Furthermore, if the need arises to cash out, I can do that strategically through a token swap. But for now, I aim to grow my account through consistent periodic power-ups and support the goal of making Hive blockchain a place to be in crypto.
