Why Easy Payments Are Making Us Spend More

Nowadays the things that are around us have become much more convenient and in such a situation it becomes a little difficult for all of us to keep a little account of the money we spend. It is good for those who mention it or note it down but for those who do not note down their expenditure anywhere or keep spending it carelessly, for them all these things have become a curse instead of a boon. If you live in India, then you can see UPI everywhere and it also makes things much easier but because of this, it becomes a little difficult for you to track your money but today through this post I will tell you all a solution which will prove to be beneficial for you, I feel so because it is proving to be beneficial for me too. I try to make as little payment as possible through UP or even if I do, then I make a monthly fixed budget and run it due to which I do not need to think.

If you live in India, from vegetable shops to big restaurants or any online platform, wherever you look, you get UPI payment facility, due to which things become much simpler. Earlier you had to use net banking or credit card or debit card, for which you had to take out your card and enter the number from it for payment and enter then CVV, after that FIR OTP comes on your phone, but due to UPI, things have become much easier, you just have to scan the QR code and you get the payment option, you just have to enter your secret PIN. You have to enter it in which you approve the payment. This is a very easy method due to which people end up spending a lot. Nowadays everyone uses UPI for payments ranging from ₹10 to ₹1000 lakhs. Nowadays very few people deal in cash.

And these are the things that are keeping in mind your habit of spending more. If you want to maintain your expenses, then keep some cash aside every month and keep your budget fixed and if possible, then reduce the use of your smartphone or uninstall all the applications through which you make payments and install them only when you have to use them. This is also a good way due to which you get less addicted to them. See, there are some small ways which you can use in your life and I think this will help you in reducing your expenses. There will definitely be some improvement in the habit of doing this and whatever you spend, whether it is something worth ₹10 or something worth a thousand rupees, you should note it down, nowadays there are many features available in smartphones, you can use them too.

If you want to reduce the use of your phone, then you can keep a small pocket diary in your pocket in which you can note down your daily expenses. If you do not want to carry a diary, then you can make a daily routine diary at home in which you can write about your daily expenses, no matter how few they are. Mention everything in it, how much money you spent and where, and trace even the smallest expenses. If you can do this, then you will know where your money is going. Nowadays, many smart tools are available. This is a tool where you can share all your data and you'll find out where your monthly spending is the most, how much money you're spending where, and where you can cut back.

That was just some advice. I hope it helped you. Thank you.

In last few years I noticed that my expenses are increased because of upi payment and also I get so many transactions in bank. Just thinking to move back to cash because it's not easy and that is why I can avoid unnecessary purchases. Will only do whatever is necessary

Not only Rs.10, I also paid Rs.1 through UPI. However, It is not possible to uninstall all the payment apps because when you have Rs.500 and bought things of Rs.50, and shopkeepers deny to accept it then you need to use UPI. At least you will have to keep one UPI app, so that you don't need to install it in hurry.

I fully agree with it. When it become easily you can spend it easily. You may always think you are spending a little but combing all small transaction become more than a major transaction. It's better to set a limit.
