Finding Peace in Worship Despite Fever & Illness 🌙🤲

Life sometimes brings days when our health does not support us, but we still try our best to continue our responsibilities and daily activities.

The night before yesterday, I had a very good sleep, and Alhamdulillah, I was feeling perfectly fine. However, yesterday morning, I suddenly developed a very high fever along with a painful sore throat. It was quite difficult for me to start the day.

Fortunately, I had some Panadol tablets at home, so I took one. After some time, I felt a little better, and my fever started to come down.

After that, I got ready for Friday prayers and went to the mosque to offer Jumu'ah Salah. After the prayer, I recited Surah Al-Kahf. Alhamdulillah, even during illness, Allah Almighty gave me the strength and opportunity to perform my عبادات.

After Asr prayer, I spent some time reciting Durood Sharif. Later, I visited Abbas Bhai's clinic to get some medicine for myself. After taking my medicine, I sat at the shop for a while and spent some time managing my daily responsibilities.

While sitting at the shop, I noticed some children playing together. Childhood is truly a beautiful stage of life. Sometimes children play happily together, sometimes they start arguing over little things, but after a short while, they come together again as if nothing had happened. Watching their innocent activities really made me feel happy. Their simple and carefree moments remind us how beautiful childhood is.

After Maghrib prayer, I again spent some time reciting the Holy Quran. I also recited Surah Al-Waqiah. Alhamdulillah, although Friday was quite challenging because of my fever and sore throat, I am thankful to Allah Almighty that a major part of my day was still spent in good deeds and worship.

We should always be grateful to Allah in every situation. Whether we are healthy or facing illness, His blessings are always around us.

I pray that Allah Almighty grants good health and well-being to everyone, removes all our difficulties and worries, and always gives us the ability to perform good deeds.
