As it's customary for any beginner into the fitness world I went to a local gym and outdid myself to a couple of weights I struggled with before been told to pick stones while squatting, as punishment for choosing to stay fit, it's like a ritual.
My first week was hell I got sick with malaria, it felt as though my body was factory reset, I had pains in every muscle available for pain to find in my body, but did I stop no I forged ahead like a boy who got his heart broken for the first time, I needed technique on how to use the gym equipment to yield maximum effect and there goes my 1st step to staying fit;
The second thing I do is stay hydrated, I know it sounds like a lot of work to be drinking water like a dog every now and then but it's highly recommended because you'll lose a lot of water and electrolytes through sweat and heat evaporation, so your body will demand it please listen to it and supply thy water brethren. Your skin and organs desperately need it for you to be kept alive, like I can't stress this enough but I'll do my best to lay more emphasis on DRINK WATER !! And thank me later.
Eat Healthy
This shouldn't even be an advice but nonetheless you still have to remind people to eat healthy. Are you aware that you are what you eat? If you eat food containing more acidic contents than Alkaline contents you tend to have skin disorders like pimple,eczema, and irritations, also bad mouth odour, ulcer, and colon cancer.
But if you eat more Alkaline foods you'll have a balanced pH value. So what are these acidic foods to eat a limiter amount because we can't actually stop eating them altogether. We have; beans, red meat, oil, junk food. Then for Alkaline foods we have Fruits and Vegetables. So we need to balance how we eat, I eat more Alkaline foods than acidic food to stay fit, but I take in more proteins because of my high muscle mass.
Workout
Yep you have to actually put in the work, it could start with jogging short miles in the morning or evening whenever convenient, or joining a gym and registering for a personal coach to assist you in the beginning process because you will need a lot of guidance trust me. Or it could be that you are an introvert and don't like going out you will need to put in the work by setting time aside to touch the dirt and do the work, put in the effort. I put in the effort three (3) times weekly in the mornings and evenings so that's a total of six (6) times a week that's how I stay sharp and in shape.
