This prompt is one of the few prompts so far in 2026 that brought a beautiful smile to my face.
It made me remember 9 months ago when I was on boarded on Hive to start my writing journey. At first, it felt like something impossible, to actually write almost everyday in a year but I decided to give it a trial due to my new discovery and where I was coming from.

Seriously, Hive is not just a mere blockchain but a community of great individuals, where you get to meet, connect and engage with one another and probably make good friends out of here to the physical space.
Hive helps people with no income or less income to have an added income as they write and earn, earning through delegations and all.
I remember the first time I withdrew my HBD, I was overwhelmed that this was actually real and I could just earn at the comfort of my home. This is the kind of solace and comfort Hive gave me especially during the time I had nothing doing and just left my job.
Hive helps in improving ones writing skills as long as it's an original content and I think either writers likes it or not, Hive helped confined them to the space of thinking for themselves and writing out of originality in place of seeking AI assistant or even be reliant to generate AI write-ups.
Now, let's talk about the downside of Hive as there's nothing with a good side without a bad side unless we just want to overlook them.
Being sincere right here and right now, I feel like the rate at which writers gets upvotes discourages writers and also makes them think twice before onboarding massively unlike before. I could remember my onboarder telling me that there were times he has upvotes worth more than $20 on his posts which I got to see for myself after going through his blog. I held unto something that he said which is
Even when he's tired, the reminder of the upvotes gives him the energy to write
Which is true and I guess that's it for almost everyone too. We get energized when we see what we do yielding positively for us unlike upvotes on post looking like a radio station frequency number (0.12, 0.54....). So I feel like something can be done on this as long as the posts are worth it, and are not AI generated contents.
The last thing but not the least I would want to talk about is the fact that Hive doesn't really carry the users along with necessary informations. This is a decentralized platforms and should be practiced as such hopefully.
Normally, getting here on Hive, I knew writers income comes in as Staked hive and HBD but on changing the whole methods of writers payouts, putting away HBD and replacing it with liquid Hive, I'm not sure it was related to Hive users let alone knowing the reason for this impromptu change.
So from my end, I think that is not too fair on users as we are also a big part of the blockchain and stakeholders.
All the same, Hive is a great place to be. A place of opportunities, fun, connections and networking. So I'm glad to be part of Hive and thumbs up to every original content writers here.

Is $Hive's prediction for the end of the year? 😎
Hive has helped me use my brain for a while now; it has been a means of self-development for me, but it will also be good if an added advantage is the reward of upvotes.
